President Biden: Everyone Who Wants A Vaccine Will Get It By End Of May.
President Biden made a surprise announcement that the nation could be fully vaccinated by the end of May, much sooner than expected. (The Hill)
““We’re now on track to have enough vaccine supply for every adult in America by the end of May,” Biden said in remarks Tuesday afternoon at the White House. “When we came into office, the prior administration had contracted for not nearly enough vaccine to cover adults in America. We rectified that.””
The vaccination effort the gold standard in finally getting the Coronavirus epidemic under control. As a nation we failed at limiting social gatherings and wearing masks which sadly became a political issue. Now certain governors are blasting past the advice of our own CDC and erasing all restrictions meant to slow the spread of the virus. Therefore, the vaccine will be our best ‘shot’ at being able to return to normal sometime this year, possibly by the end of summer. Pun intended.
