Hyundai Raid Too Much?

President Trump sought to play cleanup amid backlash to an immigration raid at a Hyundai battery plant in Georgia, insisting in a post on social media that foreign experts would be welcomed to the U.S. for a “period of time” to train U.S. workers.

“When Foreign Companies who are building extremely complex products, machines, and various other ‘things,’ come into the United States with massive Investments, I want them to bring their people of expertise for a period of time to teach and train our people how to make these very unique and complex products, as they phase out of our Country, and back into their land,” Trump posted late Sunday. by Brett Samuels ‘The Hill’

The immigration crackdown has caused tremendous turmoil in certain sectors of the economy. Auto plants have tremendously technical installations that need precision and extensive expertise in order to successfully install and get running. Now many companies don’t want to end up like Hyundai with all of their highly educated engineers in detainment. The current Administration is trying to quell these fears in an effort to stem forein capital outflow.
