Government Shutdown Threats Loom Large.

“The risk of a shutdown is growing as Senate and House conservatives threaten to defund the government unless President Biden and Senate Democrats agree to secure the southern border.
The border fight already has hopelessly delayed a supplemental funding bill that includes aid to Ukraine and Israel.”
The shutdown fight resumes once again and politicians are likely to kick the can down the road regarding lifting the debt limit by only offering short term solutions in this seemingly never ending fight. The nation will reach its debt limit very soon and no more borrowing will take place until the ceiling is moved every higher and that may not happen unless President Biden negotiates on securing the southern border.
