If he is convicted by the Senate, he would become the first president in history to be convicted in an impeachment trial, though every indication before the trial points to an acquittal.”
Sent. McConnell has 1 last gift to give the former President who gave him 200 judges and 3 Supreme Court Justices. How could McConnell ever vote to convict the former President who gave him so much in such a short amount of time. Sure the Senator from Kentucky knows Trump is guilty and by all accounts can’t stand the man but… those judges are just such a sweet spot that deserves to be paid back. The hell with the history books!
