Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but a step in the right direction. Only 100% marriage equality is acceptable but the Church will not be going that far anytime soon, however, this can be used as a stepping stone in that direction. Guaranteed to upset the right wing Pope Benedict faction of the Holy See which is always a good thing.
