Congressional Accomplices To The Insurrection May Face Prosecution.

“If in fact it is found that members of Congress were accomplices to this insurrection, if they aided and abetted the crime, there may have to be actions taken beyond the Congress in terms of prosecutions,” Pelosi said at a press conference, choking up at times as she decried the racism and bigotry some of the rioters displayed openly on Capitol grounds.

Speaker Pelosi is taking this horrendous chapter in American history very seriously and the rest of Congress should be doing the same. Right wing radio and members of Trump’s circle continue the delusional thinking that ‘Antifa’ committed the crimes despite the arrests of scores of MAGA supporters from around the nation who participated in the mob insurrection on January 6th. Fortunately, the President’s Twitter has been suspended and he cannot continue to spread lies to his millions of followers thus undercutting some of the myths surrounding the treasonous insurrection.
