Congress will begin to hear testimony from people who could shed more light onto the riot that engulfed the Capitol on January 6th. (Politico)

It may take months and possibly years to untangle the bizarre web of plotters and insiders who aided and abetted the January 6th insurrection. The number of law enforcement and elected representatives who participated in the armed revolt is astonishing and may never completely be known. Many are hiding in the shadows and hoping the public memory of the event fades away and the nation loses interest. That probably will not happen considering the magnitude of the event and the lofty perch on which it stands in America’s psyche.
