“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine said on Sunday he was ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin but not willing to yield on his nation’s territorial integrity.
Speaking through an interpreter on CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS,” he said: “I am ready for negotiations with him. I was ready over the last two years, and I think that without negotiations we cannot end this war.””
President Zelenskyy is showing remarkable resolve in the wake of the Russian Invasion. The President of Ukraine and all Ukrainians are uniting the rest of the World in opposition to the Russian aggression. Very few modern events are able to unite the West in the way this war has succeeded in doing. Putin is now backed into a corner and could lash out in a more dramatic way…but the World is hoping that does not happen. President Zelenskyy has proven to be the new hero of the 21st Century.
