GOP Favorability Takes A Hit After The Trump Inspired Insurrection.

A CNN poll shows a significant decrease in the GOP’s overall favorability mainly coming from a decrease in Republican sentiment.

The public overwhelmingly wants to see the Republican Party move on from Trump once he’s left office. Overall, just 19% say the party ought to continue to treat Trump as its leader, while 77% say it should move on. Among Republicans, views are split, with 48% saying the party should move on and 47% saying the party should continue to treat Trump as the leader of the party. Independents who lean toward the Republican Party, however, are much more likely to say the party should move on from Trump (62% feel that way).

Trump’s devoted crowd of allies is thinning by the day. Big corporations are bailing on him and those who incited the mob riot in droves and in the modern political theater money matters more than anything else. To win an election you need a lot of money and the dollar spigot has been turned off for those that backed The President’s attempted coup. However, the GOP may be able to find alternative funding for their conspiracy theory candidates willing to overturn free and fair elections.
