Trump’s Attorney Said The Infamous Georgia Call Was ‘Taken Out Of Context.’
Trump’s attorney argued the Georgia calls instruction to ‘find’ votes wasn’t what the Georgia call sounded like……not in the least. (NPR.org)
“House managers told you that the president demanded that the Georgia secretary of state ‘find’ just over 11,000 votes,” Castor said. “The word ‘find,’ like so many others the House managers highlighted, is taken completely out of context.
”It is clear that President Trump’s comments and the use of the word ‘find’ were solely related with the inexplicable, dramatic drop in Georgia’s ballot rejection rates,” Castor said, before launching into an argument on the interpretation of the word “find.””
The former President’s ability to gas light the public on this one seems remote. His instruction to ‘find’ the votes was crystal clear in the audio and everyone, including Donald Trump knows the exact meaning of the instructions. What was the plan if Georgia ‘found’ these votes? Trump would still be no where near 270! Did he expect Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin to fall in line and ‘find’ their own votes? Something else?
