Sen. McConnell recognizes the fact thatTrump inspired insanity has gone too far and he called out Rep. Greene for adherence to completely bizarre lies that she reads on the internet. Apparently, Trump called her over the weekend and ‘endorsed’ her, to what extent it not immediately known. The endorsement, however, enables her to commandeer Trump’s rabidly loyal base and claim them as her own. Sen. McConnell is trying to head her off at the pass and stop further spread of what he calls a ‘cancer’ on the Republican Party.
