California now is bearing the brunt of the Covid-19 catastrophe with no signs of relenting. Meanwhile Congress cannot even decide if Americans deserve $600.00 or $2,000.00 or nothing! The vaccine rollout has been dismal with little hope of curbing the pandemic anytime soon and most indicators actually point to a worsening crisis. A larger check from the government would help lessen the economic turmoil but millionaire Senators are not persuaded.
