Voter participation is the most fundamental foundation of our Democracy and ensures that the will of the people is the foundation of our laws and rules that govern society. Forces at work want only certain people afforded an opportunity to voice their cares and concerns at the ballot box which essentially gives them power over their fellow citizens. The efforts to limit voter participation are an affront to our very democracy and have to be stopped in their tracks or large segments of the population will feel disenfranchised and disconnected from a society they are not allowed to help shape.
