Not that surprising at all the Justice holds these opinions, they are clearly reflected in his rulings. The fact he would become so hyper political in a speech with no veil of impartiality is the truly shocking aspect. The Justice is anti marriage equality and is very eager to get that issue back before the Court in hopes the new right wing Justice Ms. Barrett will vote along with him to discriminate against gay people.
