Hugs Are Almost OK Now, Some People Are Meh.
The easing of the Coronavirus has induced more people to reach out for the hug, some prefer a not hugging world. (Washington Post)
“Ever since coronavirus vaccines became widely available to the general population, it’s been evident in parks, restaurants and homes throughout America: Arms across your back are back. Grandparents are hugging grandkids again. Friends are hugging friends. Even epidemiologists, a notably cautious bunch, are hugging. For many, the return of hugs has been a welcome step toward the return of normalcy.
”
Most Americans are ready for a hug after a full your of doing the social distancing thing. That does not mean everyone however! I don’t mind a greeting hug, sure that’s fine, but a goodbye hug as well? For a short social gathering I think the double hug is too much and certainly could be excised from the America’s social routine lol. Will the goodbye hug go by the wayside? Eh probably not.
