Heathrow Inferno Shuts Airport.
London’s counter-terrorism police are leading the investigation into the fire at an electrical substation in nearby Heathrow airport “given the impact this incident has had on critical national infrastructure.”
A police spokesperson said there was “no indication of foul play” but detectives “retain an open mind” over the cause. (CNN)
Heathrow Airport is now shut due to a massive inferno that is causing disruptions around the Globe. Counter terrorism officials are investigating the incident as an act of terrorism meant to inflict maximum damage to Global trade and commerce. With a World so interconnected it is easy to cause significant damage to the Global economy by damaging important cogs in the system.
