The youth vote, especially in the critical swing states, went for President Elect Biden in a major way. (Politico)

The President was never interested in broadening his hard core base to bring in other voters. He fed off the adoration of this deep crimson red crowd and probably couldn’t stomach the thought of alienating any of these voters with an outreach that included LGBTQ rights and/or a racial justice agenda. That was clearly a mistake for him if he was actually serious about being re-elected.
