14th Amendment=An Effective Trump Ban?

I think Trump will still control the doings of the Senate next week because he is still able to harness the power of all those who voted for him. Sen. McConnell could however vote to convict which would pave the path for other Republicans to do the right thing and take a stand for American democracy. Republicans, unfortunately, are fearful of American democracy and that is the core of their problem, they don’t want to expand their base and have become reliant on an aging white voting block.
