The Republicans to voted to impeach Trump have come under intense pressure from their own party.

The brave House Republicans knew they would be squarely in the cross hairs of the ever loyal Trump fan base. Yet they decided to do what is right and stand up to their own parties’ establishment and vote to impeach the President for inciting the riot that overtook the Capitol on January 6th. It remains to be seen if Trump’s tentacles continue to reach deep into the heart of the Republican Party the further he gets from his term in the White House. I think his influence will begin to recede especially since he is hobbled with no social media companies currently willing to let him use their platform to incite violence.
