The unprecedented economic rebound has caught many industries off guar that were bracing for years of economic malaise after the pandemic. The news is great for job seekers or those thinking about changing jobs or even careers due to the lack of available workers in this economy. The labor shortage will breed innovation and automation will become a larger component of the economy which may not bode well for the US workforce in the long term. That said, a post pandemic economy on fire is a much better state of affairs than the decade long depression some thought we were in for.
