Michigan Once Again Leads Nation In Covid Cases.

For the second time this year, the state of Michigan is leading the nation in COVID-19 cases per 100,000 people, according to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

According to the latest data, Michigan has over 50,311 new COVID-19 cases in the past week. That comes out to 503.8 cases per 100,000 and is the most in the nation. Minnesota is second with 490 cases and New Mexico has 462 cases per 100,000.

Michigan is once again at the epicenter of the Covid-19 pandemic which will cause many disruptions to peoples’ Thanksgiving holiday right around the corner. As the nation continues to grapple with a virus that is reluctant to loosen its grip, renewed effort must be put for to get as many people vaccinated as possible in order to stop the death counts from continuing to rise. The nation will be in for a long arduous winter if more people are not vaccinated in short order.
