Remote Learning Is Back Again, Families Despair.
Remote learning has returned for many school districts as Covid surges once agin. This is causing familial disruptions from coast to coast. (AP News)

President Joe Biden, who campaigned on a promise to reopen classrooms, is pressing schools to remain open. With vaccines and regular virus testing, his administration has said there’s no reason to keep schools closed.”
Many children are now back to learning from a screen from instructors that are not physically present with them and it is leading to serious disruptions in their learning experiences. Often the children of impoverished parents bear the brunt of these policies due to a lack of resources which further stunts their knowledge growth and impairs future employment education and employment prospects. The full extend of the damage done will not be known for years but suffice it to say that President Biden’s campaign promise to get children back in the classrooms was a worthy goal and he must strive to make that happen.
