Biden’s Healthcare Vaccine Mandate Begins To Take Effect.
Workers in the healthcare fields across the country are required to start receiving the vaccine to continue with their employment. (NY Times)
“Unvaccinated health care workers in roughly half the United States are required to get a first dose of a Covid vaccine by Thursday under a federal mandate that has understaffed hospitals and nursing homes bracing to lose more workers.
The Biden administration’s mandate, which is to take effect in stages, will ultimately affect about 10 million health care workers in 76,000 hospitals, nursing homes, home-health agencies and other providers that participate in Medicaid and Medicare.

Vaccines are the only way to finally end this pandemic that has now dragged on for over 2 years in this country. Hundreds of thousands of people are now dead and to rid the country of this scourge will take an acceptance of science and a belief in research to move past this pandemic in hopes that it does not become endemic to the population. More variants are right around the corner and vaccines will be the best way to stop them dead in their tracks.
