Canadian Protestors Continue To Disrupt Life In The North.
Protestors are continuing to keep life in some Canadian cities at a standstill as their Anti Covid restriction demonstrations continue. (CNN)
“Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, emerging Monday from a weeklong isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus, echoed residents and officials frustrated by the demonstrations, which began January 29 as an objection to a vaccine mandate requiring truckers entering Canada to be fully vaccinated or face testing and quarantine requirements.
More protesters have since joined to rail against mask mandates, lockdowns, restrictions on gatherings and other efforts to stem the spread of Covid-19. Some have vowed not to leave until certain Covid-19 measures are rescinded, they’ve told CNN.”
The anti Covid restriction protestors continue to cause intense problems and confusion for residents of various Canadian cities and towns across the nation. These protests are quite a shock for a nation not accustom to disruptions or civil unrest and have changed the dynamic of Canadian society and culture in a short period of time. The restrictions probably seem less sensible with the mild Omicron variant that is now dominant but if or when another Delta like variant emerges then the limits on daily activities will seem more reasonable for the average citizen.
