Fauci Cautiously Hopeful We Are Entering A New Pandemic Stage.

“The omicron variant itself has proved to cause milder disease than previous versions of the virus — except among the unvaccinated, the elderly and the medically vulnerable. On Wednesday states reported a seven-day average of 2,564 deaths, a slight decline but still more than at any time since vaccines became widely available.
And the ever-present threat of another variant emerging prompted warnings that public health measures such as mask mandates certainly were not yet gone forever.”
The pandemic may be entering a final stage, at least the health experts are hopeful that is the case. The World was sort of in this position at the beginning of last summer with very few infections and life seemed to be on a trajectory to returning to a normalcy everyone knew pre-pandemic, then the Delta variant emerged which changed absolutely everything. The variants are biggest game changers and could once again upend everything, let’s hope that is not the case.
