I have a feeling the pardons will come fast and furious. Knowing that he will never has this power again and also knowing that the power is almost absolute will give the current President an extraordinary impetus to wield this magic wand far and wide for the benefit of his allies. He would love to wave a similar wand and be able to convict his enemies but thankfully that is not a power given to the President or almost all of Washington would be imprisoned. Now the questions turns to self pardon. Can he do it?
