A Cornona Virus surge and a newly minted status as a swing state with many planned political gatherings have created chaos just a few weeks before the election (NY Times)
“They have watched with growing alarm as coronavirus cases have exploded. Three of the four metro areas in the United States with the most cases per capita were in northeast Wisconsin, and one hospital in Green Bay, the third-largest city in the state, was nearly full this week.”
A state that was comfortably in 1 political column for many previous election cycles now finds itself a red hot electoral prize in a highly contentious election while the Corona Virus is surging in the state. With the President and his supporters eschewing the recommended facial masks the pandemic will more than likely continue to spread throughout the state as the planned political rallies take place in the coming weeks. Wisconsin needs to get it together!
