The death of RBG crystallizes the consequences of elections and brings into focus what was lost in the 2016 election. Many, including myself, feel almost like its that election night four years ago all over again, lost in a new wilderness, rudderless. The thought that the arc of American jurisprudence has historically bended towards personal rights and freedoms, with many gaping pitfalls along the way, makes me scared but a little hopeful that everything will be ok. I just don’t know.
