The attacks on science as fake news has started to take a real toll on the front line workers whose job it is to stop the spread of Covid-19 and prepare for the next pandemic. Not great news for anyone concerned about their own health or the well being or of their communities. Hopefully with a leadership change this sad trajectory can be reversed in short order.
